About Althea:
Over the last 10+ years it has been my privilege to build strong bonds with senior family members and also seniors that I have met along life's way. Through these interactions the unique challenges and the joys of aging have become apparent to me and have taught me the importance of active listening, patience, and providing a supportive presence. A commitment to serving others at difficult times in their lives gives me a sense of purpose and fulfilment. In my spare time, I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, community church outreach and gardening.
